Gingers and Heliconias
Zingiberaceae is the Ginger family of flowering plants. There are almost 60 genera and around 1,300 species of ginger! Heliconia is the one and only genus in the family Heliconiaceae with about 200 different species! The leaves look like lobster claws and are often referred to as such.
