This is an interesting ginger that is more of a ground cover or great for a container. It has long fuzzy green leaves that can reach 1 foot in length. The plant itself doesn’t get much taller than around 6″ – 8″ tall.
This ginger gets large, showy bright yellow, delicate flowers that smell like lemon or citrus!
This ginger also sells as Chamaecostus subsessilis. Winter dormant plant.
