Description

This is a special Sweetheart Hoya clone with fuzzy soft leaves. It has green heart-shaped leaves although please understand that the leaves are not always a perfect heart shape. The leaves get much larger than the regular H. kerrii and the leaves are pubescent on both sides.
The flowers are pretty and unusual. The blooms sometimes have a brown caramel sap oozing out which is an interesting display. The flowers actually smell like caramel too! You can see these flowers during the spring and summer time on mature plants. This variety grows as a big vine or makes a nice, vigorous hanging basket plant. A more uncommon clone.

We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, they are watered about once a week when they are dry, and they are well protected from cold temperatures.
