Capsicum chinense ‘Biquinho’ – Little Beak Pepper (check back summer 2023)
This variety of peppers are round and little, with a distinctive tapered point or tail that resembles a bird’s beak (hence the name). Multiple colors of sunshine yellow, orange, or scarlet-red can been seen on the plant at one time. These peppers are not spicy at all, but have a rather sweet and fruity habanero-like flavor. Since these peppers are not hot, they are perfect to be tossed in a salad or great to be pickled.
Expecting in April or later. Please check back.
