$18.00
Philodendron ‘Birkin’ is self-heading with a thick upright stem, resembling the look of a tree. This species is a rare mutation of the hybrid Philodendron ‘Rojo Congo’. The mutation creates veiny cream white/yellow streaks as the plant matures. This low maintenance plant is great for a beginner or someone looking for a unique Philodendron!

Description
As most Philodendron, the Birkin flourishes in filtered light like a spot in a window or outside under canopies. If grown indoors, rotating the plant over time will help with even and full growth because they grow toward the light. A good well-draining airy soil mixture is best, something like orchid bark and perlite will do great. They do not tolerate soggy roots, so try not to overwater. Wait until the very top of the soil has dried out before watering again. These plants love humidity, keep them away from a dry draft. To help promote extra humidity if you’re struggling to maintain some, placing them around other plants should do the trick.
