Ledebouria socialis (email for availability)

Description

Grows in well-draining humus rich sandy soil in the shade. Do not place in full sun, the plant will fry to death. It enjoys being watered during the warm months when it is growing, and provided a dry season in the Winter where it should receive very little water. It will tolerate being watered in the Winter, but a dry season allows the plant to put out a new flush and flower in the Spring and Summer.
