This orchid is native to Chiapas state of Mexico and Costa Rica. The large flowers are impressively vibrant in a rosey purple with a darker center. The petals and sepals are curled and frilled on the edges, creating really beautiful elegant shapes.

Description
Place in a position with bright indirect light. This plant needs plenty of light to bloom. Pot in a chunky, airy, well draining mix. Water once the medium has dried completely. Protect from freezing temperatures.
