A. leuconeura is a food source for swallowtails butterflies. The butterflies just go crazy for it. The flowers are small, brownish color, and appear on the old wood.
Native to Peru and Costa Rica.
We grow it under filtered light conditions and we consider this Aristolochia to be a medium size vine. Freezing temperatures should be avoided. This variety Pipe Flower is rarely offered for sale.
