This is a large tropical bush or shrub that produces racemes of tiny, white, sweet fragrant flowers during the warmer months. The intense fragrance of the blooms is very pleasant and the flowers also attract butterflies and bees. Some people even say the flowers smell like almonds.

Ships in 4″ pot. Does not come with flowers, but is mature to bloom.

Medium size shrub for full to partial sun. Racemes of tiny, white, sweet fragrant flowers cover the plant most of the year, especially during the warmer months. Bees, butterflies and people are attracted by the flowers. Minimum temperatures in the mid to high 20’s (zone 9). Depending on the winter conditions, the plant may stop blooming and loose some of its leaves. The Sweet Almond Bush can be grown in containers. Trimming is recommended in order to produce a fuller shrub and should be done a few times a year. The plant re-sprouts fast and re-blooms after a few weeks.
