This is a large tropical shrub or small fruit tree, bearing fruit that is deliciously sweet. The skin is thin and the pulp is light and crisp, apple-like.

Description

Grow in full sun, without it the plant will not flower and fruit properly. The tree grows in a wide range of soils, but a well-draining soil is recommended. It has average watering requirements. Protect from freezing temperatures. The tree grows densely branched, making it great for pruning into a large shrub. During the Winter or the dry season, the tree usually sheds its leaves and they return back with the wet season.
