Thunbergia mysorensis – Mysore Trumpet Vine – Indian Clock Vine

A rare tropical vine that produces eye catching, very unusual, wide-mouthed, red/burgundy and yellow dangling flowers most of the year once mature. It looks best hanging from a large trellis or pergola to show off the blooms overhead.

Description

Nicknamed Indian Clock vine, Mysore Trumpet Vine, and Cuckoo clock vine.
This is a hard to find tropical vine for collectors or gardeners looking for something you don’t find in everyone’s yard. It produces eye catching, very unusual, wide-mouthed, red/burgundy and yellow dangling flowers most of the year once mature. It looks best hanging from a large trellis or pergola to show off the blooms overhead. I would not recommend for a fence. Different and attractive foliage as well. Native to India.

The pictures are for reference purposes only. These photos do not even do this lovely vine justice. Google photos of this vine and you will be “wowed”.
