Description
Medusa Flower or Poison Arrow Vine is an unusual shrubby vine native to Africa. It is grown for the unique flowers that have long hair-like streamers that can dangle 12″. The flowers can be seen in late spring to early fall in tropical climates and they have a mild fragrance. May attract hummingbirds.
It can be grown in bright shade to full sun although prefers a break from the sun. They like regular watering and some pruning is recommended to keep it a more compact shrub look. It is best to protect from temperatures in the low 40’s F and colder.
