This is a beautiful orchid with palm like foliage and vibrant colorful flowers. The tips of the petals and sepals are darker, creating a stunning ombre effect. The clusters of flowers are long lasting and sit up high on an inflorescence.

Description

This orchid thrives in full sun, tolerating light shade. Keep in mind it needs plenty of light to bloom. They prefer to have some moisture, tolerating some drying for short periods of time. For soil, a well draining nutrient dense mix that holds onto moisture well is best. Something like peat moss, perlite and bark is a great option. Protect from freezing, does not do well with temps under 40 degrees F.
