Description

This warm-loving orchid grows well in indirect sunlight with heat and humidity. These plants cannot handle cool temperatures. To bloom in the Spring, this orchid needs 12 hours of light a day, you can supplement light with a grow light if needed. They should be watered when the growing medium is almost dry, these plants like to grow in bark or wood of some sort, something quick draining and airy. You can also mount these orchids, but they will need a bit of moss around the roots to retain a bit more moisture. Try to freshen your potting mix every few years or so, when the wood has broken down a little.
