Description
This cute species has small, thin, (give it more water) green leaves. When exposed to bright light the leaves get a beautiful pinkish red color. The leaves look similar to some H. lacunosa clones. The flowers are revolute which sometimes I find a little plain, but I think these flowers are adorable and different. The corolla is off white and the corona is red with off white tips. Mature plants are great bloomers in my climate. This Hoya is also
easy to grow, will fill out a pot nicely and is easy to bloom.
We grow it outside in south FL in filtered light and we protect it well from cold temperatures. This Hoya is native to Malaysia. Don’t let it get bone dry, but don’t keep it soaked either.
