Description

We purchased this Hoya from Liddle’s Nursery in Australia as a cutting. It develops gorgeous large leaves with silver flecks. I really enjoy this one without flowers and if you are a foliage lover, I think you will too.
My mother plant bloomed for the first time just after one year and it was loaded with several umbels. My mother plant has bloomed with different color flowers on the same plant which is common on Hoyas as the seasons change. The flowers have been off white with a light pink center. Other times the corolla is lavender and purple with a darker pink center on the corona. No matter the color, the flowers always have a very pleasant, strong, perfume fragrance. This Hoya is native to Ko Chang Island in Thailand. This Hoya is rarely offered for sale.
We grow our Hoyas outside in Florida in filtered light, keep soils slightly dry, and protect from cold temperatures.
