Hoya sp. cf. lacunosa Fr. Fraser’s Hill (4″ pot)

A new Hoya lacunosa clone for me, or at least it was sold to me as a H. lacunosa. The flowers and clusters on this clone are much larger than all my other types of lacunosa! Fragrant flowers.

Ships in 4″ pot. Photo #2 is an example on size plant for sale.

Description

This Hoya was sold to me as Hoya lacunosa ‘Fraser Hills’. I am not sure what the correct name is but I have found Hoya sp. cf. lacunosa fr. Frazers Hill, Malaysia on a well known site.

It has H. lacunosa-like leaves and the flowers also resemble Hoya lacunosa, except that, the flowers and clusters are quite big! Grows super fast and full. Fairly early bloomer and frequent bloomer once it starts.
Fragrance very nice, very lacunosa-like. Fraser’s Hill is a village in Malaysia. I believe this is a rarely offered Hoya lacunosa.

We grow our hoyas outside in south Florida and our description and results are based on these growing conditions only. We grow them in bright indirect light, water when dry, and we protect well from the cold.
