Description
This Hoya has very attractive and interesting leaves. The leaves are round-ish, light green with a pretty dark green vein pattern. The leaves can develop dark green markings and also silver flecks.
This hoya was an early bloomer for me, nearly 6 months from a cutting. The flower clusters are on the small side, but the dark burgundy color contrasting with the yellow and white is very pretty. The flowers do not have a strong fragrance, but they do have a pleasant spicy scent.
Rarely offered hoya, fairly easy to grow and bloom.
We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light. We water only when they are starting to dry out and we protect well during the cold months.
