This funny looking Hoya has very unique stringy and narrow leaves which is very different for a Hoya leaf and hard to get confused with another species. This Hoya produces very elegant and beautiful flowers once mature enough. The corolla is pure white and the corona is cranberry color. You do not get large clusters filled with hundreds of flowers, but the individual flowers are considered big compared to the size of the leaves and plant. There may be up to 3 flowers per umbel, but often you see 1-2 per umbel. My mother plant has bloomed covered with flowers all over and many umbels had more than 1 flower. You can see the flowers in the late summer to fall on mature plants.

This Hoya likes a little bit more water than your normal succulent Hoya. I grow my Hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light and protect well from cold temperatures. This Hoya is native to India.
