This is the most common of the pubicalyx group. This species grows very well and fast. It has green leaves with splashes of silver. The silver marks on the leaves turn pinkish-silver when exposed to more light and sun. The flowers are fragrant at night and are similar to the H. carnosa, but are much darker pink. It’s originally from The Philippines. It is best to keep this hoya above 40° F, but it can handle frost for short periods of time.
