Description

This Hoya is new on the market and rarely offered for sale. It was published in 2012 by Kloppenburg, Siar, Guevarra, Carandang & Mendoza. The leaves are medium green, elliptic with a lot of white visible veins. It is a pretty patterned leaf and also the leaves will get red colors when exposed to more light. The glossy flowers are pretty; pale yellow to bright buttery yellow corolla and white corona. As you see in my photos, sometimes you can see different shades of yellow in one cluster which is neat. This Hoya is named percisina after the peach colored corolla, but it appears to only be peach on the tips which you can’t even see once the flowers open. The flowers are also super fragrant and my mother plant has bloomed with multiple clusters at a time.

We grow our Hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light and we protect well from cold temperatures. Do not let this one dry out too much as it does not have a very thick leaf.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the plants for sale.
