Hoya micrantha (3″ pot)

This tropical succulent wax flower has small green leaves and produces unusual pinkish orange flowers. This is an easy to grow plant for beginners that is a good bloomer once it is mature.

Ships in 3″ pot. Photo #2 ONLY, is an example on size plant for sale.
We grow our plants outside in FL, imperfections/blemishes are possible. This species always has little black dots on the back of the leaves. Normal and harmless.

This is a very cute Hoya that is rarely offered. It is a fast growing species native to Thailand, Malaysia and India. The unique flowers are small and are a pinkish-orange color. This hoya blooms non-stop in the spring and summer once mature enough. H. micrantha gets very full and long with small oval leaves. The leaves also have a rough texture and an olive coloration. There are tiny black dots on the underside of the leaves, I have found this to be a normal characterstic for this species. It does not take away from the beauty.
This is an easy Hoya to grow that can even tolerant near freezing temperatures for a short period of time. We grow our Hoyas outside in filtered light and keep soils a little on the dry side.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants, not the plants for sale.
