This species produces lovely white with red center flowers that have a nice fragrance. It is a decorative non-twining species with handsome leaves. The same plant we previously sold as H. paziae. We believe H. ‘Iris Marie’ is the proper name now.

Description

Hoya paziae is an attractive foliage plant on its own. Hoya paziae is more of a shrub type that does not twine. It has thin, medium size, green leaves with a visible mid vein and a blunt tip. The new growth is orange/red.
The flowers are pure white with dark pink/red coronas. The star shaped flowers have a wonderful, strong, sweet fragrance and the flowers also last a long time! Only well established plants will bloom and humidity will speed up the process.

We grow our hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light and we protect well from cold temperatures. Hoyas with thin leaves need to be watered more often (yes, this one!). Do not keep it soaked either. This Hoya is native to The Philippines.
