A rare tropical plant from Brazil. This plant is really neat because it flowers along the main stems of the plant and I think you would agree that this is very unusual and cool. Some people remove some of the leaves to expose more of the flowers. The flowers are a pretty bright red and you can see them during the warmer months of the year. This plant is a good potted plant for shade or filtered light. It likes water and average fertilizer. The plant doesn’t branch too much. It can reach a height of about 5′. It is best to avoid freezing temperatures.
