Description

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants, not of the young plants for sale.

Dischidias are “Hoya cousins!” They are easy to grow and don’t require much attention. They do best outside in filtered light or indoors with lots of light. They like to have good drainage. Fertilizer is average and it is best to avoid freezing temperatures. Dischidias do flower, ususally during the warmer months when mature. The flowers usually arent very showy or fragrant like the Hoyas. Dischidias are plants you enjoy for their beautiful foliage and in hanging baskets or mounted.
This species is called “million hearts” because the leaves are cordate shape and you see more and more tiny hearts on your plant as it grows. The leaves are smaller than a penny. I would recommend this attractive foliage plant to a beginner. It is too cute!
