Description
Clerodendrum minahassae has many common names; Tube Flower, White Glory Bower, Starfish Clerodendrum and Fountain Clerodendrum. This tall shrub or small tree produces white, tubular flowers on and off through out the year. It has a heavy blooming period during the spring. After the flowers, it produces red seed pods that hang around for months. The calyx resembles a red starfish with a blue seed in the center and it makes a quite unique display on the tree.
