Native to the Eastern Himalayas, India, Assam, Burma, Thailand and Laos, this leafless orchid is so unique and beautiful. Producing long lasting dark red flowers outlined in yellow, it blooms in Spring and has a strong floral fragrance. As the plant matures, it beautifully displays long cascades of flowers, filling a room with its scent. Chiloschista lunifera is a root lovers dream!

Ships mounted. Does not come with flowers.

Description

This orchid is easy to grow. Water regularly and keep in filtered sunlight. Although they enjoy warmer weather, they can take 55 degrees F spikes in the evening. They grow best mounted however you can pot in an orchid bark mix. Rarely, it will produce very tiny leaves and shed them once flowering begins.
