Cattleya amethystoglossa coerulea
This Cattleya produces a gorgeous large white flower with purple speckles and a frilly purple labellum; the sepals are frilly as well and the petals curl in slightly. Each flower spike can harbor anywhere from 10-30 flowers, blooming in Autumn, Winter and early Spring.
Description
This is a warm to hot growing Cattleya, preferring a position in warm indirect sunlight. Without enough light they will not bloom. Pot in a chunky potting mix, something like orchid bark perlite and charcoal works fine. Water once the potting medium has dried completely. Protect from freezing temperatures.
