A quick grower that doesn’t take long to live up to its ‘regal’ name,  Alocasia ‘Regal Shields’ features large, heart-shaped leaves (the ‘shields’ in question) that are thick and dark green, with red-toned undersides and prominent yellow veins. Capable of thriving indoors or out.
