Shipping Charges


All domestic orders are typically shipped by UPS, but we occasionally use USPS priority mail and Fedex (depending on the weight of the package, the distance from Gardino Nursery, and the time of year).

Shipments to P.O. Boxes are accepted, however, we may contact you for a physical address if we are using UPS for your order.

***This chart is for orders shipped within the US only, excluding HI, AK, PR, and VI! Plants in 4″ pots and smaller only! Please contact us with questions in regards to shipping to Canada. Shipping to HI, AK, PR, and VI are typically more expensive.

Please refer to the table of charges below for plants in 4″ pot pots or smaller. Method of shipment and charges are subject to change without notice.

All plants larger than 4″ pot are subject to an over-sized item fee. ***Some plants in 4″ or 5″ pots may have an over-size fee if they are heavy or tall.

Why is shipping so expensive??? Unfortunately shipping live plants is a little pricey. These are living organisms that do not like dark boxes for very long and require special shipping. Shipping includes costs set by UPS/USPS/Fedex (which increase every year), boxes, sleeves, paper, tape, and the time to pick and carefully pack your order. 
If you overpaid for shipping, we do issue you a refund. May be typical for FL, GA, SC, NC customers.


SHIPPING DAYS -We ask that you allow us 10 working days for your plants to be shipped. Although, often times, items ship much faster than this.

-We cannot hold orders for more than two weeks; please only order when you and your weather are ready to receive the plants or your order may be canceled.

-If you need to receive an order by a certain day, please let us know immediately so that we can plan an appropriate shipping day and carrier. Additional shipping charges may apply for special shipping requests.

-Most shipments are sent Mondays and Tuesdays only. Occasionally we will ship on Wednesdays to local customers and Fridays via usps only.

-If you need a Monday shipping day, please let us know when you are placing your order. We may delay your shipment for a week if we are busy.

-We provide tracking numbers for all orders via e-mail. Often times, these e-mails will end up in your spam folder. Please be sure to check this folder and please contact us if you still did not receive this e-mail.
