This is a miniature tropical Iris that prefers some shade. It produces large crested purple flowers. Handsome flat fanned sword-shaped leaves. Very pretty and not a common iris you see in everyone’s yard. Easy to grow for beginners.

Ships in 4″ pot. Does not come with flowers, but is mature to bloom.

It prefers filtered light. It needs average water requirements. It is a miniature, growing more or less 12″ tall. It blooms in late winter/early spring with nice size very pretty purple flowers that last more than one day.
Native to Japan, China, Burma, and Korea.
