Description
This hoya has very appealing lanceolate foliage with visible veins. The leaves can turn shades of pinks and purples when exposed to more light. Fast growing, easy in tropical climate, and I would recommend for someone with room for a large growing hoya.
The superb glossy flowers are beautiful shades of pinks and purples. The flowers have a fruity scent, reminding me a little bit of coconut. It took my mother plant about 2 years to bloom from a small plant.
This is a rarely offered hoya native to Flores Island in Indonesia. Very attractive!
Our hoyas are grown outside in south FL in filtered light, they are watered when dry only, and we protect well from cold temperatures.
All photos were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the plant for sale.
