Description
This is a Hoya published by Ted Green in 2004. It has light green, succulent leaves that get huge and that’s awesome if you are a foliage lover! The leaves can get 6″ – 8″ long.
This Hoya produces fuzzy classic white flowers. The individual flowers and cluster are big in comparison to Hoya carnosa. The flowers are super fragrant and smell amazing, day and night! The flowers also last a long time which is a super plus for a Hoya. I usually see many clusters on my mother plant at a time and it blooms frequently for me. The flowers are extremely appealing, but I love this species because of the gorgeous large leaves, one of my favorites! This species is rarely offered for sale.
We grow our Hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light, only water when dry, and protect well from cold temperatures.
