Hoya lucardenasiana (2.5″ pot)

This rarely offered tropical wax flower produces unusual, dark pinkish purple flowers once mature. The flowers smell delicious; honey and perfume mixture!

Ships in 2.5″ pot. Photo #2 ONLY, is an example on size plant for sale.
Our plants are grown outside in FL, blemishes/imperfections are possible.

This rarely offered species has thick, waxy, green leaves with few to no visible veins. We think the flowers are very attractive and also unique. My mother plant is sometimes covered with several clusters of flowers at the same time. The corolla is pinkish and the corona is very dark red/pink and it really stands out. The corona appears to turn darker and darker as it ages, eventually almost black. The interesting flowers also smell delicious; a mixture of honey and perfume fragrance. It is a nice plant for the collector.
We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, only water when dry, and protect well from cold temperatures.

All pictures were taken previously of my mature mother plant, not the plant for sale.
