This is an interesting tropical plant with leafless hollow stems that resemble bamboo. Very nice for an oriental-type garden. It can grow on the edges of a pond or as a bog plant, but we recommend growing it in a container. Florida native plant!

Description
Unusual-looking plant with hollow leafless stems perfect for an oriental-type garden. Horsetail do not produce flowers but instead develops spores.
This is an ancient plant that is said to have existed 350 million years ago in the Devonian period.
It likes continuously moist soil and tolerates full sun to light shade. Growth can overcome small gardens in planted in the ground. It is also great for containers, adding an unusual oriental touch to your patio.
