This variety of peppers are round and little, with a distinctive tapered point or tail that resembles a bird’s beak (hence the name). Multiple colors of sunshine yellow, orange, or scarlet-red can been seen on the plant at one time. These peppers are not spicy at all, but have a rather sweet and fruity habanero-like flavor. Since these peppers are not hot, they are perfect to be tossed in a salad or great to be pickled.

Ships in a 6″ pot. May not come with peppers.

Description

A beautiful looking plant from Brazil. With its heaps of drop shaped pods, making it a great ornamental plant. Grows well with well-draining soil, allowing the top inch of soil to dry in between waterings. The peppers average about 1-2 inches in size starting out yellowy green and ripens to a bright and shiny scarlet red. They are thin skinned with lots of seeds. Biquinho – Little Beak Peppers are an excellent of vitamins A and C and also contain minerals such as potassium, magnesium, iron, and dietary fiber.
