Brownea macrophylla – Rose of Venezuela (10″ pot/$70)
This is a gorgeous understory tree native to Venezuela. It is a tropical tree that grows up to about 15 feet on average. Flowers are large, bright red/orange with yellow petals. Almost like a giant powder puff. A unique beauty that would be a great addition for a collector or someone in a tropical climate. Rarely offered.

Description
We grow this tree in south Florida in filtered light to partial sun. It is a great understory tree. It likes average water, humidity, and needs to be protected from frost.
