Jackfruit is a tree in the Moraceae family, related to fig and mulberry! It is the largest fruit in the world, having the potential to weigh up to 120lbs. Mature trees can produce upwards of 200 fruits per year, old trees get up to 500 fruits or more. It is deliciously sweet, tasting a lot like cantaloupe. It is normally enjoyed in the Summer and Fall.

Description

Grows well in tropical and subtropical areas, protect from freezing temperatures. Full sun and part sun is best, in a well draining potting soil that still retains some moisture. Water averagely in the warm months and reduce watering in the Winter.
