When young, this fern looks like most common Boston ferns, but with age the leaves get slender and grow quite a bit in length, taking on a character of its own. Prefers part shade and humid conditions, 60-90% humidity is best. If you live in a tropical environment it will grow outdoors just fine if placed in shade, in cold climates this should be grown in a container and protected from freezing temperatures. Water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soaking wet. The medium should be well draining and still retain a bit of moisture.
