Description

Nashia inaguensis is a beautiful small shrub with small shiny lemony fragrant leaves that are used to add a vanilla flavor to teas. This plant gets tiny cream colored flowers followed by tiny red/orange berries. The flowers are tiny, but they magnify the scent of the plant and the scent is fantastic. The flowers/leaves are highly attractive to pollinators, especially the Atala butterfly according to Wikipedia. This is a great plant for small gardens in tropical climates. It is also perfect for bonsai because of its miniature features.
