This is a tropical, miniature ginger that produces large yellow flowers with a mild pleasant fragrance. This shade-loving plant blooms nearly year-round in a tropical climate.

Ships in a 3″ net pot. Does not come with flowers.

Description

Lemon ginger is a gorgeous container plant. It has handsome shiny green leaves with pink margins. Very compact growing and doesn’t grow more than 2 feet tall. It produces beautiful 2″-3″ bright lemon yellow flowers of graceful texture. The flowers have a mild pleasant fragrance. It can bloom almost all year in a tropical climate and nearly every day in the summer. Grows in bright shade and likes regular watering. A very hardy plant, okay for beginners. Looks best when kept above 50, but can take freezing for a short period of time. Native to Peru.
