Description

This has got to be the hardest Hoya species to pronounce, but it is an easy one to grow. We purchased this clone from Liddle’s Nursery in Australia. This beauty develops spectacular, large dark green leaves with off-white veins. The leaves develop beautiful color if given more light. This Hoya is normally purchased more for the attractive leaves, but has darling flowers too.
The buds are very pink and the flowers are yellow with touches of pink. The back of the corolla is completely pink. This Hoya is a fast grower for me. It took less than two years to start blooming from a cutting and my mother plant was covered with several umbels. This Hoya is native to Sumatra island in Indonesia and it is rarely offered for sale.

We grow our Hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, we keep the soil slightly dry and we protect very well from cold temperatures.
