Description

Hoya sigillatis is one of those great Hoyas that rewards you with very pretty leaves AND flowers! The leaves are green and sometimes purple and heavily flecked. The word sigillatis actually means many flecks. The leaves develop more pink/purple color the more light you give it. This hoya looks great in a hanging basket and does not grow very big. It is a great one to add to your collection if you are the foliage lover and also if you have limited space. The flowers are also unique and very cute. The corolla is an apricot color and the corona is a cream/light yellow color. This hoya is rarely offered for sale. This hoya is native to Malaysia and I would protect it well in the winter.

We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light and we only water when the soil is dry. Hoyas like a good drained mix, orchid mix for example, and they grow and bloom well in small pots/hanging baskets.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants, not the young plants for sale.
