Description

This is a beautiful, rarely offered Hoya. This Hoya has grown really fast and well for us. It is not so much of a climber, but looks really nice in a hanging basket. The flowers and buds are a really beautiful dark cranberry color and they are mildly fragrant. You can see flowers during the warmer weather on mature plants. I started to see many flowers just after two years from a small plant. The new growth is brown and comes in pairs resembling angel wings. This Hoya has thin leaves, especially the new growth, therefore it requires a little more water than most Hoyas. It grows well outside in filtered light. Make sure to protect it from cold temperatures! Very nice one to add to your collection because both leaves and flowers are super pretty!

We grow our hoyas outdoors in filtered light. Hoyas are known for being good indoor plants as well. Hoyas like to grow in small pots with a trellis or hanging baskets. Fertilization is average. Hoyas need to be protected from cold temperatures.
