Description

This is a very attractive Hoya lacunosa variety. It is a strong compact grower that reaches a nice size and blooming age fairly quickly.
The leaves are kind of quirky because you can see different shaped leaves on the same plant. Some are heart shaped like H. krohniana and some stretch out and are larger and more oval shaped. It sometimes has some small silver flecks on the leaves.
It produces clusters of small white flowers with a little bit of yellow in the center. Once established, it is a repeat bloomer and the flowers are pleasantly fragrant.
I would recommend for a beginner and for someone looking for early blooming hoyas.

We grow our hoyas outdoors in south Florida in filtered light. Hoyas are known for being good indoor plants as well when given proper light, air humidity, and air circulation. Most hoyas like to be kept a little on the dry side. Give the hoyas with thin leaves more water. Hoyas like to grow in small pots with a trellis or hanging baskets. Fertilization is average. Hoyas need to be well protected from cold temperatures.

All pictures were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the plants for sale.
