We purchased this Hoya from Liddle’s Nursery in Australia. This is a “giant” clone of Hoya lacunosa and indeed both flowers and leaves are the biggest clone that I have seen. Hoya lacunosa is easy to grow and bloom and is also a very good bloomer once it is mature. The flowers are white and pleasantly fragrant. This clone is rarely offered for sale. This is a must have in your collection, especially if you like to collect different H. lacunosa.

We grow our Hoyas outside in S. FL in filtered light and protect from cold temperatures. Hoya lacunosa requires average water, don’t let it dry too much. Hoyas also like small pots/baskets.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants in bloom, not of the young plants for sale.

The last two photos are a comparison between the largest lacunosa (this one) and the smallest lacunosa (langkawi island).
