Description

This hoya is similar to H. buotii but to my knowledge they are still known as two separate species. The flowers in my opinion are larger than H. buotii. It has thin medium size green leaves and is a fairly fast grower.
My mother plant bloomed just after 1.5 years. The flowers are exceptional and have a wonderful perfume fragrance. The yellow flowers have many hairs and have a dark red to purple corona. The flowers also last about a week. Definitely a show off! Rarely offered hoya native to The Philippines.

We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light to bright shade. Hoyas with thin leaves prefer not to dry out completely in between waterings. Protect well during the cold months.
