Hoya finlaysonii (plain oldie but goodie) (5″ pot)

$16.00

This must be one of the first Hoyas ever in my collection and I have grown it for over 20 years. It came as just plain ol’ Hoya finlaysonii, nothing fancy. It has light green leaves with dark green veins, as it should. It produces gorgeous white with burgundy flowers when mature. Easy to grow. Will please any Hoya lover.

Ships in 5″ pot. Photo #2 ONLY, is an example on size plant for sale.
Our plants are grown outside in FL; this species seems to always have some blemishes and imperfections in my climate.

Description

This is an easy to grow Hoya that can be enjoyed simply by the appealing leaves. The leaves are medium to large size, light green color with a nice dark green vein pattern. The leaves can have some random silver flecks.
This Hoya blooms during the warmer months once it is established. The white flowers with
burgundy tips are very cute. The flowers are short-lived, but it is a frequent bloomer for me.
I believe a beginner would do well with this species.

We grow our Hoyas outside in south Florida in filtered light and we keep it a little on the dry side. Make sure to protect it well from cold temperatures.
