Description

Hoya dischorensis is an easy to grow tropical plant that looks nice in a hanging basket. It has beautiful, large-ish, glabrous, green leaves. Once it matures, it really grows fast and twines a lot. Although it may be slow to grow in the beginning, it is not slow to flower. My mother plant bloomed after more or less one year from a cutting. It produces large clusters of buttery yellow, hairy flowers. There is no scent to this one. This hoya blooms all the time for me.
I would give this hoya water more frequently than your average succulent Hoya. This Hoya is native to Papua New Guinea.

We grow our hoyas outside in filtered light and protect from cold temperatures.
