Hoya coronaria (Pink Flowers) (2.5″ pot) (clear-out price)

This “wax flower” plant has round fuzzy leaves. Once mature, it produces large pink star flowers. My mother plant is a non-stop bloomer in the spring/summer. A rarely offered species that can grow and bloom quickly in the right conditions.

Ships in 2.5″ pot. Photo #2 ONLY, is an example on size plant for sale.

Hoya coronaria ‘Pink’ is quite the vigorous grower. The leaves are round, green and fuzzy.
To our surprise, you actually do not need to wait forever to see the big beautiful flowers. Our plant began to bloom after a year and a half from a small/young plant. Both the corona and corolla are normally pink with white tips. The flowers have a pleasant scent, but it is very mild. My mother plant is a non-stop bloomer for me in the spring and summer. Don’t be intimidated by this one; it is easy to grow and didn’t take a long time to bloom, unlike white Hoya coronaria. This is a rarely offered Hoya.

We grow our hoyas outside in south FL in filtered light, they only get watered when it rains or when the soil drys out, and we protect well from cold temperatures.

All photos were taken of our mature mother plants, not of the plants for sale.
The very last photo is a comparison between the white flower and the pink flower.
